How to transport the most delicate products of the bakery sector?

Initial Situation:
Following a flood, the customer has to redo his automated conveyor line of boxes of cream cake, very delicate products to transport. In addition, it must also avoid human manipulation as much as possible.


Storcan solution:
Storcan offers a solution with a system of transport (including elevator) and accumulation conveyors, some manufactured by Storcan and others distributed by our partner Hytrol. This solution will provide better control and higher durability.
To ensure the line is controlling the cream cake boxes at 100%, Storcan has created an air release system to ensure the product is in the correct location on the conveyor.

The project management and integration team went to the site to perform the FAT (Factory acceptance test) and supervised the dismantling stage until the new line went into production.


The customer is left with a 100% new conveyor system with increased speed, better accumulation times to their palletizing cell and above all better adhesion of the boxes to the conveyors which allows better quality control of the product.

The capacity of the conveyors is currently at 49 boxes minutes but has a capacity to increase to 99 boxes in the future, which allows good profitability in the long term.
