Initial situation

Our client, a Canadian company that creates natural body care and household products, seeing its demand increase, needed more production capacity. So, it was a good time for him to build his own manufacturing plant instead of continuing to go through a co-packer. He therefore contacted us to design and integrate his new production line for his body care and household products.

Storcan solution

To create a complete, high-performance, flexible and scalable production line, our teams organized several meetings with the customer in order to clearly identify their needs, objectives and operational and environmental constraints. The 2 main issues were the budget and the possibility of making a line for products of different formats and different types of closure.

For this solution, we have therefore combined technologies from several of our key partners and systems manufactured in our factory in Chateauguay, south shore of Montreal, all this integrated by our teams:

• Unscrambling and orientating system, automatic bottle cleaner and fillers for different container sizes,

• Capper,

• Case erector,

• Top loading case packer,

• Labeling system,

• Inkjet printing on box,

• Robot palletizer,

• Dynamic wrapping machine,

• Table Top type chain conveyor

Storcan supported the client throughout the project starting with consultation, through engineering, project management and installation. Once the line is officially put into production, we continue to support the customer with our after-sales service department.

Final results

The client was very satisfied with the result and can now focus on producing all the body care and household products in its range, thanks to its own manufacturing plant.

Thanks to the expertise and know-how of the Storcan teams, it has an efficient and profitable multi-product production line.
