Reporting to the Sales Director, the incumbent will be responsible for client account representation, as well as achieving individual sales objectives. They will specifically act as a technical advisor in palletizing systems, warehouse logistics equipment, and distribution centers such as AGV/LGV (Automated Guided Vehicle / Laser Guided Vehicle) and ASRS (Automatic Storage and Retrieval System).
MAIN FUNCTIONS
- Develop major accounts in the agri-food sector;
- Help Storcan establish its market reputation as an integrator;
- Collaborate with our North American and European partners holding innovative technologies and promote their equipment to our clients;
- Coordinate information with the solution technician (pre-engineering);
- Establish a strategic sales plan for their clients to achieve their objectives;
- Participate in the preparation of bids;
- Maintain relationships with existing clients and seek new clients;
- Guide and advise clients in the choice of applications and equipment;
- Participate in FAT with clients at our factory;
- Participate in weekly opportunity management meetings with the sales and pre-engineering team (Pipeline);
- Record and update your opportunities in the CRM;
- Participate in monthly meetings with the sales director;
- Prepare and conduct PowerPoint presentations;
- Contribute to the development of the annual sales and marketing strategy;
- Prepare annual sales forecasts;
- Follow up and maintain business relationships with partners and the distribution network.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- 5-8 years of experience in sales representation in the agri-food and/or packaging, warehouse logistics systems, and distribution center sectors;
- Good knowledge of AGV/LGV logistics systems, ASRS, and palletizing systems;
- Established network in the agri-food sector;
- Essential bilingualism;
- Excellence in prospecting and business development in North America;
- Aware of market trends concerning technological improvements;
- Autonomous, curious, and good negotiator;
- Ease in maintaining excellent customer relationships.
