Technical Representative - Agri-food industry

Reporting to the General Manager, the sales representative will be responsible for of developing new business partnerships and growing your existing client portfolio. The assigned territory is Canada but could be called upon to develop certain territories and/or accounts in the United States.


  • Develop major accounts in the food and packaging sector (end of food production line);
  • Help Storcan food division establish its reputation in the market as an integrator;
  • Promote certain European equipment for food production lines;
  • Participate in the weekly pipeline meeting;
  • Coordination of information with the solution technician;
  • Establish a strategic sales plan in order to achieve sales objectives;
  • Participate in the drafting of quotes;
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers and seek new customers;
  • Guide and advise customers in the choice of applications and equipment;
  • Participate in FATs with customers at our plant;
  • Participate in weekly opportunity management meetings (pipeline) with sales and pre-engineering team;
  • Enter and update your opportunities in the CRM
  • Participate in monthly meetings with the Sales Manager;
  • Prepare and animate Power point presentations;
  • Participate in the development of the annual sales and marketing strategy;
  • Develops its sales forecasts annually;
  • Monitor and maintain business relationships with partners and our distribution network.


  • 10 years of experience in the food or packaging industry;
  • Bilingualism essential;
  • Excels in North American canvassing and business development
  • Be on the lookout for market trends regarding technological improvements;
  • Be autonomous, curious and good negotiator;
  • Ability to maintain excellent customer relations;
